Dr. Smolensky specializes in general cardiology, preventive and sports cardiology, heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, critical care, cardiac imaging, vascular medicine, internal medicine, and congenital heart disease. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
Dr. Smolensky is originally from Ukraine and earned his medical degree with honors from Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine in 2002. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in 2014.
Dr. Smolensky has been in practice for almost 20 years. He previously practiced at Middle Georgia Heart and Vascular Center, LLC in Macon, GA and Madalyn N Davidoff, MD in Warner Robins, GA and was affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Coliseum Medical Centers, Navicent Health, Perry Hospital, Houston Medical Center, and Taylor Regional Hospital. He also currently serves as faculty in two residency programs through Emory University School of Medicine.
